9-year-old Engels Volbloed gelding, 1.65 m, sensitive, honest, and versatile.
I am offering my sweet gelding for sale. He is a sensitive horse, but once you have that click, he will truly go through fire for you.
He knows the basics of dressage. He still finds the right-hand canter difficult, which stems from imbalance and requires further training. He is an honest horse who always wants to do his best.
He absolutely loves jumping. Because he is sensitive and sometimes a bit insecure, he does need a rider who rides with clarity and confidence. He will never do anything crazy while riding, such as bucking or rearing; he remains honest under saddle.
He is a horse that enjoys variety. He loves trail rides and is incredibly well-behaved during them. Due to his speed, fitness, and enthusiasm, I think he would also greatly enjoy cross-country.
In daily handling, he is a very well-behaved and sweet horse. He is easy to groom, adapts quickly to new situations, and spent two months in professional training. He also went on holiday with us, where he behaved exemplarily.
At the moment, he still finds trailer loading difficult. With patience and calm practice, it can be done. He is used to a truck and usually walks onto that without any problems.
Vetting
Cookie had a clinical and X-ray (legs) examination two years ago. His neck and back were not X-rayed.
(Re-inspection is allowed at the buyer's expense)
A clicking sound is sometimes audible from his right hind leg at the walk. A veterinarian recently checked this; after examination, no abnormalities were found. All corresponding veterinary reports are available.
He is being sold because he deserves a rider who suits him better. I would love to see him go to someone who enjoys variety and likes to grow together with a sensitive horse.
• Checked annually by the dentist.
• Correctly vaccinated against influenza, tetanus, and rhino.
• Properly dewormed according to schedule.
• Goes to the farrier every 6 to 8 weeks.
• All inspection reports and the veterinary report are available.
