He has been backed (saddle broken) since mid-March 2025, learns very quickly and is extremely well-behaved.

Sire (see last photo):
Romeo Van de Groenweg (2013) is a pony stallion of 1m46, lifelong approved in Class I.
Sire: Dexter Leam Pondi (multiple participations in the European Pony Jumping Championships).
Dam: Glencarrig Delphinium (dam of Goliath Van de Groenweg, Vice European Pony Jumping Champion 2014).
At just two years of age, Romeo won the Free Jump Contest Ponys 2015 during his first participation in free jumping. Romeo won the final of the SBB Competition for 6-year-old ponies. Furthermore, at the exceptionally young age of 6, he became a finalist at the Belgian Pony Jumping Championship (1m30) in 2019 and 2020.

Dam:
Mare by the well-known pony stallion Calipso van de Vondelhoeve.
The dam is the full sister of the stallion Jerome van de Vondelhoeve (international Dressage).
The granddam is a Deutsche Reitpony by the stallion Durello. This mare has produced several good sports ponies as well as stallions and elite foals.
