Romeo Van de Groenweg (2013) is a pony stallion of 1m46, lifetime approved in Class I.
Sire: Dexter Leam Pondi (multiple participations in the European Jumping Pony Championships).
Dam: Glencarrig Delphinium (dam of Goliath Van de Groenweg, Vice European Champion Jumping Ponies 2014).
At just two years of age, Romeo won the Free Jump Contest Ponies 2015 during his first participation in free jumping. Romeo won the final of the SBB Competition for 6-year-old ponies. Furthermore, at the exceptionally young age of 6, he became a finalist at the Belgian Jumping Pony Championships (1M30) in 2019 and 2020.

Dam:
Mare by the famous pony stallion Calipso van de Vondelhoeve.
The dam is the full sister of the stallion Jerome van de Vondelhoeve (international Dressage).
The granddam is a German Riding Pony by the stallion Durello. This mare has produced several good sports ponies as well as approved stallions and elite foals.
