Sweet, willing mare Desperado x Gibraldi

Te Quiero is a handsome 7-year-old black mare of approx. 1.64 m, Desperado x Gibraldi.

We purchased Te Quiero with the goal of bringing her back into training and then selling her. During this process, however, we noticed that being ridden by various potential buyers/riders builds up tension for her. Therefore, we feel it is unfair to her to keep having different people try her out, and we prefer to find a single, experienced rider in the short term who wants to continue building up with her calmly.

Te Quiero is a sweet mare in daily handling and well-behaved with grooming, washing, the farrier and transport. She has also been out on trail rides with other horses.

Under saddle, she is still green for her age. She needs an experienced and confident rider who can offer her clarity and confidence. With a consistent rider and guiding hand, we expect her to really shine.

She competed in April 2026 and then had a period of rest due to circumstances with her previous owner.

Due to the above situation and a lack of stable space, we are looking for a suitable new owner preferably in the short term. This has been factored into the price.

X-ray approved on the legs in 2022 prior to backing. Re-inspection is of course permitted, at the buyer's expense.
