Active
3-year-old Ulyss Morinda x Kannan stallion
Description
Pilgrim. His temperament & pedigree are his greatest assets!
Home-bred, has had no other owner.
Pilgrim is an impressive, home-bred stallion, born in 2023, with an exceptional mix of top showjumping bloodlines.
He currently measures 1.73 m, with a beautiful, athletic look and plenty of frame.
This young man is truly a WOW: enormous scope, athletic, and with a wonderfully sweet character.
Pedigree:
Ulyss Morinda x Kannan x Indoctro
Looking for a future showjumper, all-rounder sport horse, or serious jumper? Then Pilgrim is definitely a horse worth visiting.
Both parents possess an excellent character and lots of jumping quality.
His sire, Ulyss Morinda, jumped at 1.60 m level – that says it all.
His dam, a daughter of Kannan, brings strength, scope, and carefulness, combined with a fine attitude and quality movement. Competed up to 1* eventing. Jumped up to 1.15 m, has been mainly used for breeding and is still with us. Her dam Pamora jumped up to 1.40 m. Direct pedigree from Indoctro.
He would also fit perfectly as a luxury all-rounder or even as an exceptionally handsome leisure partner, but one with unprecedented talent and presence. A real eye-catcher with a gentle character.
His jumping technique is impressive: great push-off, a beautiful bascule, and always room to spare. He jumps with ease and visible enjoyment.
In terms of temperament, he is remarkably easy:
honest, level-headed, willing to work, and people-oriented.
Very trainable and easy to handle.
- No stable vices
- Correct and clean conformation and legs
- No history of defects, wounds, or lameness
Well-behaved with handling, clipping, loading, transport, washing, and leading.
A very honest stallion who takes everything calmly and positively. He comes from our own breeding, grew up with us among other stallions and mares. Ran in a mixed herd until last year. Now turns out with geldings and 2 other stallions. Has not been in a commercial youngstock rearing facility.
