3-year-old NWR stallion

3-year-old dark brown NWR stallion by Nia Domo's Bolero out of an Orchard Red Prince mare.

Aslan is currently at the top of the D-pony height limit, is very people-oriented, and easy to work with. Because he has been presented at the CHK (stallion inspection), he is very accustomed to lunging; he picks everything up very easily and always puts his best foot forward.

His sire is the jet-black NWR studbook stallion Nia Domo’s Bolero (Orchard Boginov x Orchard ‘d Avranches) from the Belgian Stal Blommerschot, who has been declared ‘preferent’ based on his NWPCS-registered offspring.

As a foal, Nia Domo’s Bolero (bred by the late Toon Vloet) became foal champion at the regional inspection, and as a three-year-old, he was registered as an NWPCS studbook stallion. He also earned his breeding license in Belgium. In 2013, at the central stallion inspection, Bolero became section champion and overall day champion.

Offspring
Bolero is the sire of two NWPCS studbook stallions – namely Dempsy Sil and Dempsy Chicago, the designated stallion Rooskamps Mabon, and the ‘ster’ stallion Dempsy Tren. Five sons reached the second viewing. Furthermore, he has eight ‘ster’ daughters: Marybel, Vlagberg’s Banff, Eindershof Relinde, Sloots Lady Olga, Ruby’s Finest Friday, Heide’s Berg Amira, Vlagberg’s Pincher, and Dempsy Black Pearl.

The damsire is Orchard Red Prince, an Elite Sport stallion from 2002 (Aester El Nino x Verona’s Bo-Gi) with 4 direct approved sons and an additional 16 approved stallions where Orchard Red Prince appears in the second generation. Thanks to his high-performing offspring, Orchard Red Prince achieved his Elite predicate in 2020. Furthermore, Red Prince himself competed at a high level with several riders; in 2021, he was a member of the B-squad with Esmee Broers, and in 2022, Red Prince started his last FEI competition with Esmee Broers in Kroonenberg.
