Bred to perform, she combines the scope and athleticism of her sire, Cicero’s Icewater, who competed to the Advanced level in eventing, with the grit and reliability of her dam, Burr Hill Girl (by Emancipator). The result is a bold, powerful young horse with the engine and presence to shine in the jumper ring, and with the movement and balance to continue developing in eventing as well. Mara has already gained experience at Starter and Beginner Novice events; and has confidently jumped around schooling shows at 3’, showing natural scope, quick reflexes, and an uphill balance. She is brave to the fences and thrives when she can move forward with purpose. Her jump is careful and powerful, and she brings an energy that makes her exciting to ride without feeling unpredictable. Under saddle, she is forward-thinking and responsive, preferring a confident rider who can support her ambition and keep her focused on the job. Mara would be well suited for a capable amateur, junior, or professional looking for a talented partner with real jump and competitive instinct. She has the athleticism, scope, and presence to develop into a serious show horse.
