For sale: Sørjonen, a 4-year-old dressage gelding with great potential!

We are offering our home-bred 4-year-old dressage gelding Sørjonen for sale.
Sørjonen was born and raised with us, meaning his complete history is known. From foal to young horse, he has been reared with great care and attention. Due to his later development and size, he has only been under saddle for about half a year. He has been backed and is now being ridden quietly. He knows the basics under saddle and picks up new exercises easily.

Sørjonen is an uncomplicated, honest and good-natured horse with a lot of trust in people. In handling, he is calm, friendly and pleasant. He has no stable vices and is used to all daily care. He regularly goes to the farrier, is dewormed based on manure testing, and his teeth are checked and maintained annually.

Under saddle, Sørjonen is sensitive to the aids and has plenty of blood, meaning he is certainly not lazy. Given his age and the relatively short period he has been under saddle, we are looking for a rider for advanced rider who can further train him and optimally develop his talent.

Sørjonen has been to an unfamiliar indoor arena several times and showed himself to be relaxed and willing to work there. In addition, he is easy to load, travels quietly on the horse trailer, and rode well on unfamiliar terrain too.

Last year, Sørjonen underwent an extensive pre-purchase exam with X-rays. His legs, neck and back were approved without remarks. The X-rays are available and can be viewed upon request. Re-inspection is naturally permitted, at the buyer's expense.

Sørjonen is a talented young gelding with a fine attitude and great potential for dressage. He is exceptionally suitable for someone looking for a quality young sport horse to train further themselves and show in the competition ring.
