Friesian horses for sale

Handsome Barock pinto / friesian
Description
With a heavy heart, we are offering Glennis for sale. At this moment, we cannot give her the attention she deserves. Glennis is her passport name; we call her Lola. Lola is a bred Barock Pinto mare, but because she was born completely black, the breeders did not register her in the Barock Pinto studbook. Lola is registered in the KVTH studbook. Lola was born on May 3, 2016.
Although Lola is not registered in the Barock Pinto studbook, her parentage is fully known. These are:
Sire: Apollo van Nassau
Dam: Bente
We bought Lola in November 2022. At that time, she was radiographically approved, with X-rays taken of her legs, neck, and back. When we bought Lola, she was still very green and only lightly started under saddle. We then further trained her under the guidance of our instructor.
Lola has been trained according to the principles of classical dressage and is familiar with groundwork and work-in-hand. She can also be lunged on both single and double lunges. Under saddle, Lola is basic trained to approximately B-level by an amateur rider. Lola has never been competed because the rider's interests did not lie there. Lola certainly has the capacity to progress further with a skilled rider but is currently mainly basic trained. In our opinion, Lola enjoys jumping and cross-country and becomes very enthusiastic about it. Lola has not been competed in these disciplines either, but she could definitely develop further. Lola is very suitable for hacking, either alone or with others. She is bombproof in traffic and loves swimming in water. Lola is very well-behaved but is alert and awake. We do not find her suitable for an insecure rider. Lola is very easy to load on the trailer and goes along several times a week when we go to the forest or the riding hall.
Lola is a sweet horse in handling, but you have to get to know her. Lola lives with us 24/7 outside in a herd, consisting of many different breeds and ages—from mares with foals to yearlings and older horses. When Lola gets her feed, she prefers to be alone. She does not like others eating her concentrates and is very clear about that. Lola is on unlimited hay and can also go on pasture. In the past, Lola occasionally suffered from some itchiness from midges; however, she has not had this for the last two years.
Lola goes to the farrier every 8 weeks, and her vaccinations and deworming are neatly kept up to date. Lola has also been treated by an osteopath in the past.
Lola will not just go to any home; we would like to know where she ends up because she is very dear to us.
Lola's saddle and bridle can also be taken over.
