A tremendously nice, sweet and above all reliable New Forest pony with a bright future ahead of him.

Rob Roy is a home-bred 3.5-year-old New Forest gelding measuring approx. 1.47 m. His character is worth its weight in gold: he is well-behaved, people-oriented, level-headed and wonderfully easy to handle. A pony with a level of reliability you rarely encounter.

He has now been lightly backed and is being quietly and steadily produced further. Rob Roy goes out on short hacks and has experience at the pony club grounds. He has also shown a single small jump under saddle. This went very well and he took to it easily and sensibly. Because he is still young, we have deliberately not done any further jumping yet.

So please do not let his age put you off. A 3.5-year-old pony with such a fine temperament is hard to find. He still has a lot to learn, but has a very solid foundation from which to continue his training. For a rider who is keen to enter the sport and grow together with their pony, we see a huge amount of potential.

In addition, Rob Roy is a stunning appearance with lovely paces, which means he is sure to score well in the dressage arena.
