Tofifee is a buckskin filly from a combination bringing together two strongly established pony families. Sire Dependence AT is a son of D-Power AT. Behind that stands Dance Star AT NRW, Siegerhengst 2006 and Bundeschampion 2009, followed by Dressman I, Siegerhengst 1990 and four-time Bundeschampion from 1991 to 1994. Golden Dancer, Bundeschampion 1991, also appears in this sire line.

Dam Cathy du Bois is a daughter of Goldstar du Bois, sport performance. Behind that stands Carice du Bois, provisional keur, preferent and breeding performance, followed by Camyrah du Bois, keur, preferent and breeding performance. The line traces directly back to Carina, keur, preferent, breeding performance and sport performance. The NRPS lists this family as the NRPS Poster Child Carina mare line.
