Handsome versatile KWPN gelding is looking for his next forever home

✨ Looking for a reliable schoolmaster and a companion for life? ✨

Then Euphorio, barn name Rio, might be exactly what you are looking for.

Rio is a KWPN gelding from 2009, measuring approximately 1.70 m, bred from San Remo × Rohdiamant. I have had him since his fourth year and bought him directly from the breeder, so his complete history is known to me.

Together we have done an incredible amount: training at Paard Centraal, the Freestyle competition, TREC’s, trail rides and work according to academic art of riding. Rio has no official competition record, but he has seen almost everything in his life.

He is easy to ride, pleasantly forward and soft in the contact. Less experienced riders can also get along with him well, certainly with good guidance. Therefore, I can easily see him fitting well with, for example, a mother and daughter who want to grow together in their riding.

He is incredibly sweet with our 4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. Even when I was 38 weeks pregnant, I still rode him in the arena and out on hacks. At the same time, Rio is certainly not a boring or sluggish do-gooder: he has character, thinks along and occasionally enjoys a joke. 😉

Due to personal circumstances he is currently standing still, but Rio is typically that kind of horse where you simply mount up and ride away again.

Rio was radiographically examined as a four-year-old. He has a small fatty lump on his back, which does not bother him. Farrier, dentist, deworming and further care have always been neatly maintained.

For Rio we are mainly looking for someone who appreciates his experience, gentle character and versatility and wants to make many more wonderful miles together with him. ❤️
