Handsome buckskin D pony mare

It is with mixed feelings that we are looking for a new, wonderful home for our handsome, talented New Forest buckskin mare. A true dressage star.

s. Orchid’s Castanii,

She has had 1 foal in the past, has competed in Z2 dressage with her previous owner and jumped 0.90 in the past.

She has very neat manners, is very pleasant to handle, easy to load, and very relaxed in the horse trailer. Well-behaved under the saddle as well, can be a bit spooky, but an experienced rider easily rides through that. Due to her alertness, she makes the best combination with an experienced rider, not a beginner.

In terms of dressage, our 11-year-old daughter gets along with her very well. She has really grown in that regard thanks to the pony. Showjumping, on the other hand, does not click. The pony enjoys jumping and finds it very exciting at the same time, and therefore needs an experienced rider who gives her confidence. Our daughter cannot give her that stability and security. That is where the shoe pinches here, because our daughter would love to jump.

pony can move very well, has 3 good gaits, including an outstanding extended trot.

Her vaccinations are up to date, she has lovely clean legs, is well-behaved with the farrier and also social with our other horse (not dominant). She is very content both in the stable and in the pasture. Here she has also stayed outside at night in the summer, which she liked just fine.

We had her clinically examined upon purchase. Approved. Re-inspection is allowed at buyer's expense.
All other inspections allowed at buyer's expense.

The price includes a bridle, her good thick winter rug with neck cover, and a fly rug and fly mask for the summer.

Her very fine Busse dressage saddle (custom-fitted to her) can optionally be purchased for an additional price.
