After much deliberation, my apple of my eye La Luna.
Luna (Guardian S x Flemmigh) is a 10-year-old mare.
Unfortunately, she sustained a suspensory ligament injury 2 years ago and after rehabilitation we kind of gave up hope.
Luna is currently at a retirement home, but she is still too young to spend another 20 years there.
The injury should be nicely healed by now (was practically "healed" when turned out in November) but what happens when picking up work again, I wouldn't know. This went wrong for me from a certain point onwards when picking up work.
Perhaps a hack out is still possible. Higher-level dressage definitely not. Without too much dressage strain, she definitely has no pain and can be turned out all day long. The foot has also been fully X-rayed and looks very neat with only 1s. It concerns/concerned the suspensory ligament with dressage overload.
Please note: she is a hot dressage horse and will certainly make herself heard when building back up. Therefore not suitable for beginner, anxious or insecure riders. I had no problems with this myself and she has been a world-class horse to me. From starting in Z-class up to wonderful hacks in the Veluwe or on the beach.

She would actually be perfect for someone who wants to do coaching due to a lot of character, loves groundwork, wants to breed a foal (never bred a foal with her myself) or wants a normal hack out.

Only goes to a golden home where she can go outside a lot and be turned out with other horses. No dressage ambitions is a requirement for me.
