Enthusiastic 4-year-old Welsh x New Forest pony gelding

Herman, a 4-year-old pony of approx. 1.42m Welsh x New Forest

Herman has been a great buddy here over the past four years, and now that he has reached the age where he deserves a bit more attention and his own owner, I am looking for a suitable new home for him.

Herman is well-behaved to ride on home ground, also by younger children. There, he is more cautious than forward-going and lets himself be guided nicely. However, in unfamiliar surroundings or on a hack, he is not yet suitable for an inexperienced rider. He can get very enthusiastic then and be a bit clumsy in his movements. A rider with experience and confidence is therefore important.

I am looking for a place for Herman with people who have experience with young ponies and can give him the right guidance and direction.

Herman is currently on the heavy side. Furthermore, there are no known flaws and he has never been lame a day in his life. His vaccinations, farrier and dentist are all up-to-date.

I find a suitable home important, so that someone will have a tremendous amount of fun with him. The sale is therefore not rushed.
