Starlet was born in the green Rijkevoort where she grew up in a mixed herd with ages ranging from foals to older horses. As a 3-year-old she was covered and subsequently proved herself as a good broodmare. After weaning she went into training and was quietly backed. She is easy to work with and, despite her young age, can be called stable and super well-behaved. In a few words I would describe her as friendly, stable, affectionate and level-headed. She loves being groomed and cuddled, comes right up to you in the pasture and has a relaxed, cooperative character.

At 2.5 years old her legs were x-rayed, at which point she had a small fragment on the hock which was successfully removed. She has fully and neatly recovered from this.
