Heleentje - super sweet mare 🦄

For our sweet Heleentje we are looking for a nice and suitable new home.

Due to busyness, the limited time we currently have, and training our young horses, we have reached a point where we unfortunately can no longer give Heleentje the time and attention she deserves.

Heleentje is a super sweet, reliable and incredibly versatile mare. I broke her in myself and competed her up to and including class ZZ-Licht +15.

At the time, the step up to ZZ-Zwaar unfortunately never happened. Due to my pregnancies I stopped riding then, and subsequently Heleentje was used for breeding.

After about 3 years of not competing, we made our comeback in the ZZ-Licht class on 6 September 2026. And as if we had never been away, Heleentje went straight back to a win point. 🥰

🏆 A true all-rounder
In her career Heleentje has done an awful lot of different things. So she is certainly not just a dressage horse:

🐴 Club lessons

🐴 Hacks

🐴 Forest rides

🐴 Beach rides

🐴 Pony camp

🐴 Multi-day shows

She is used to different situations, other environments and longer days at shows.

Heleentje is a forward-going mare who reacts smoothly to your seat and you only need to give the aids as subtly as possible. At the moment I am not training her at level but on basics to ride her as simply as possible for others because she is incredibly sensitive to her rider. This also means that you really need to become a combination, after all I have ridden her myself for 11 years and I know how to find all the buttons and tricks. This does not mean that she is mean, bucks or rears because she knows the handbrake well and if you are nervous or cautious yourself she stands still just like that. You really do not need to be afraid of her absolutely not!

🚛 Incredibly easy outside of riding too
Heleentje is not only nice under saddle, but also in handling and on the road.

She walks super easily onto the trailer or lorry and you can load and unload her alone. That makes her a very nice horse for someone who regularly goes out alone too.

🍼 Also experience as a broodmare
Heleentje has been used for breeding several times. She is easy to get in foal and foals easily too.

Heleentje has always been well cared for:

✔️ Regularly trimmed

✔️ Vaccinated

✔️ Regularly visited the dentist

🦷 The 2026 dentist visit still needs to take place

🩺 Clinically & radiographically approved
On 23 September 2026 Heleentje was fully clinically and radiographically approved.

Full examination report and X-rays are present and can of course be viewed.

An examination by your own vet is of course permitted, costs to the buyer.
