More about Zazou

A true gentleman for the very youngest

Zazou is a very special pony from our own possession, who continues to amaze us time and again with his fantastic character. He is ridden weekly by a girl of just two years old and remains incredibly patient and reliable even when she still bounces a bit in trot. He adapts to his young rider and gives children all the time and confidence to ride around at their own pace.

Precisely these traits also make him particularly interesting as a lease pony. Zazou does not depend on one fixed rider, but is easily ridden by children of various ages and levels. He is incredibly forgiving and remains calm and cooperative even when a child does not yet do everything perfectly.

Mr. Confident - a hunter that helps his young rider!

Sportingly, Zazou also has an incredible amount to offer. With an eight-year-old girl, he jumps beautiful, relaxed courses, where his natural balance and constant rhythm immediately stand out. He actively thinks along, easily finds his distance, and effortlessly performs a flying change even with a younger young rider. You can practically show him the course plan and he jumps his round by himself!

What also makes him so interesting for the American hunter market is his fantastic attitude at the jump. Zazou is impressed by nothing. Flowers, striking gates, grass, or unusual fence fillers: he keeps cantering in the same rhythm and jumps over everything just as honestly. In addition, he shows a lovely front leg technique and a stylish way of jumping. A particularly promising future children's hunter!

Always the same reliable Zazou

We have taken Zazou to dressage competitions, showjumping competitions, practice courses, and cross-country and eventing training. Wherever we went, he behaved fantastically! He has competed in both dressage and showjumping and is not easily intimidated even on unfamiliar ground. A pony you can take on an adventure with complete peace of mind.
